Dr. Anant Kumar Rai is a Mechanical Engineer from IIEST Shibpur. He completed his MTech from IIT Roorkee. He received Gold Medal for securing the highest grades in the department during his MTech study. During Ph.D. research from the Hydro and Renewable Energy department of IIT Roorkee, he studied hydro-abrasive erosion extensively in Indian Himalayas. He did post-doctoral research from Tsinghua University ranked 14th in the World. Currently, he is working as an Assistant Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department, NIT Warangal. He has more than 10 research articles in reputed International and National journals. His research interests include Hydraulic Turbine, Energy, Fluid Mechanics, and Sediment Measurement.
