Ram Krishan is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Warangal. He received his M. Tech in Power Systems from NIT Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh in 2013 and Ph. D. in Stability and Optimization of AC/DC Power system from IIT Delhi in 2018.  He has worked in Deloitte India LLP and has over 2 years of industry experience in the Power and Energy sector. He was involved in the Renewable Integration and Sustainable Energy (RISE) initiative project of USAID/India to support the Government of India’s (GOI) efforts to manage large-scale integration of Renewable Energy. He has worked with CERC, POSOCO, PGCIL, NTPC, and KPTCL. He has worked on the AGC and Dynamic Reactive Power control of Large Solar Parks and Battery Energy Storage System pilot projects in India. He was also actively involved in different industry projects associated with transmission and distribution system analysis, Battery Energy Storage System, Renewable Integration and Electrical Vehicle (EVs) to Grid (V2G). He has published more than 15 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. His present research interest is power system modeling, stability analysis, load flow, Battery Energy Storage System and Grid Integrated Renewable Energy Source.
