Dr Arif is an active Consultant, Researcher and Academician.  He obtained his Ph. D (Geoenvironmental Engineering) from the "Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore" in the year 2010 and joined Bugshan Research Chair in Expansive Soils at King Saud University, Riyadh as Assistant Professor in Nov 2010 and was promoted to Associate Professor in April 2016. He joined NIT Warangal, India in April 2018 and is currently working as an "Associate Professor" in the Department of Civil Engineering. Dr Arif has established Unsaturated Soil Mechanics and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratories in the Geotechnical Division at the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. Dr Arif has authored, co-authored over one hundred articles in peer-reviewed journals, book chapters, and conference proceedings.
