Dr Arif is an active Consultant, Researcher and Academician. He obtained his Ph. D (Geoenvironmental Engineering) from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore in the year 2010 and joined Bugshan Research Chair in Expansive Soils at King Saud University, Riyadh as Assistant Professor in Nov 2010 and was promoted to Associate Professor in April 2016. He joined NIT Warangal, India in April 2018 and is currently working as "Associate Professor" in the Department of Civil Engineering. Dr Arif has established Unsaturated Soil Mechanics and Geoenvironmental Engineering Laboratories in the Geotechnical Division at National Institute of Technology Warangal, India.
