Interests: Nano-Optics; Singular Optics; Correlation Optics; Fiber Singular Optics: Spin-Orbit interactions: Structured Light-matter Interactions.
The universe consists of matter and electromagnetic radiation. We are very well equipped to manipulate matter well below the subwavelength level to create metamaterials. In today’s world of Nanophotonics, structuring light is equally as important as structuring matter. We are interested in, how we can structure amplitude, phase, polarization and coherence properties of light to structured light as per our requirements. We are also interested in “Structured light – structured matter interactions" wherein we adopt unified approach of the Singular Optics and Nano-Optics, to structure light at nanoscale and explore its interactions with nanostructures toward the development of all optical nanophotonics devices.
