    National Institute of Technology Warangal (NITW), in 2000, established Center for Management Studies. Later, renamed as School of Management (SOM). SOM offers Masters and doctoral programs and promotes faculty and doctoral research, training, consultancy, and outreach activities in various areas. The Master's program is a two-year full-time residential program. The admission to Masters program, Masters in Business Administration - MBA, is on the basis of CAT/MAT scores, done once every year at the beginning of the academic year. In 2009, School of Management started Doctor of Philosophy, a doctoral program. The doctoral program is designed to provide both depth and breadth to doctoral participants. The doctoral program is offered in various areas of management.

    School of Management is placed in the precincts of NITW and enjoys the state-of-the-art infrastructure of NITW, these include a strong IT-backbone, sports complex, hostels, and so forth.
